They understood the assignment.

The NFL dropped its season schedule a few weeks ago.

And now that I’m a little past being fashionably late to the party, it’s time to talk about it.

Back in the day, a schedule release was a graphic that honestly, all looked the same minus your teams’ colors.

Boring.

Unmemorable.

Snoozefest, tbh.

But in 2022, the LA Chargers gave us an anime fever dream style release that was… weird. It was chaotic. And somehow, it changed everything for how we get notified about what Sunday’s we will be on DND and emotionally unavailable, unless you’re coming over with more beer and buffalo chicken dip.

They leveled it up for everyone. And now, the unveiling of game days is a surefire way to tell us who has the best marketing and production teams on their sides.

In case you’ve been sleeping under a rock like I have, my personal favorites from this year’s drop are the Baltimore Ravens Severance parody, Jacksonville Jaguars Sabrina Carpenter tour, and Tennessee Titans pharmaceutical commercial.

But what this tells us is that the most unsexy things, when done with intention, can actually be really, really great.

Other things that aren’t sexy:

  • Your streaming service cutting out during the most important parts of the event (looking at you, MLB opening day and Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson)
  • Running out of snacks/your UberEats delivery being wrong
  • Updating your business’s spreadsheet to know your numbers

Recently, our Real Estate Business Hub got a glow-up too. She’s no longer that clunky tab-clicking torture device that makes you want to throw your computer across the wall (just me?)

She’s sleek. She’s helpful. One might even say she’s in her glamour era.

Now, in case you’re new here, I have to be upfront and honest when I say that I don’t have the production budget of the National Football League to create a launch video of her now.

Nor do I have enough caffeine, honestly.

But what I do have is a tool that can make your business backend feel less like a dumpster fire and more like something that you might even be excited about seeing.

Kinda like me at next year’s NFL schedule release.

If you’re ready to stop fumbling your business like the Carolina Panthers did when they didn’t play Baker Mayfield as QB, let’s go.

Go Bucs,

Lauren
